[Who Has to Comply with CPD Requirement ?]

All registered veterinary surgeons with a practising certificate ("practising veterinary surgeon") are encouraged to comply with CPD requirement to ensure that their professional competency is up to date.

Non-practising veterinary surgeons i.e. those who have not had a practising certificate can be exempt from the requirement as they are not engaged in the provision of veterinary services or advice. However, the Board advises that CPD would need to be current and compliant with the guidelines at the commencement of employment.
